What they are?

What are cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies?

We use technologies that are essentially small data files placed on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone (referred to collectively as a “device”) that allow us to record certain pieces of information whenever you visit or interact with our sites, services, applications, messaging, and tools.

Web beacons

Small graphic images (also known as “pixel tags” or “clear GIFs”) that may be included on our sites, services, applications, messaging, and tools. Web beacons are used for

1. to measure the performance of our sites,
2. to monitor how many visitors view our sites and how they navigate them,
3. to count how many emails that were sent were actually opened,
4. to monitor the effectiveness of our advertising,
5. or to count how many particular items, articles, or links were actually viewed.

Similar technologies for storing information

Technologies that store information in your browser or device utilizing local shared objects or local storage, such as flash cookies, HTML 5 cookies, and other web application software methods. These technologies can operate across all your browsers. In some instances, the use of local storage may not be fully managed by browsers but requires management through special tools. Our use

Your choice and our use of cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies

Third party providers

Use of these technologies by third-party service providers

We may work with third-party companies, commonly known as service providers, who may place third-party cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies for storing information on our sites or in our services, applications, and tools with our permission. These service providers help us operate our sites, applications, services, and tools, and provide you with a better, faster, and safer experience.

These service providers may use these technologies to help us deliver our own content, and compile anonymous website metrics and analytics. We do not permit any of these service providers to collect any of your personal information on our sites or in our services, applications, or tools for their own purposes.
